Existem algumas coisas que a gente queria saber antes de ter ido à Amsterdã. É por isso que nós vamos compartilhar essas coisas com vocês.

There’s a couple of things we wish we knew before visiting Amsterdam. That’s why we’re going to share those with you guys.

Todo mundo fala Inglês, mesmo que não muito bem.

Everybody speaks English, even if not very well.

Programe-se para acordar bem cedo, mesmo no inverno. Em Amsterdã você precisa para chegar muito cedo nas principais atrações a fim de evitar filas enormes e tirar boas fotos.

Set up yourself to wake up very early, even in winter. In Amsterdam you need to get very early to the main attractions in order to avoid huge queues and take better shots.

Você tem que pagar para usar a maioria dos banheiros da cidade. Mesmo comendo no Mc Donald’s, por exemplo, tivemos que pagar para usar o banheiro lá. É claro que é muito mais fácil para os homens, porque eles podem encontrar mictórios pelas ruas.

You have to pay for using most of the bathrooms in town. Even eating at Mc Donald’s, for example, we had to pay for using the bathroom in there. Of course it’s much easier for men because they can find urinals on the streets.

Não alugue carro na cidade! Você não vai chegar a lugar nenhum! A melhor opção é alugar uma bicicleta ou moto.

Do not rent a car in the city! You won’t get anywhere! The best choice is rent a bike or motorcycle.

Se você tem algum dinheiro para gastar com roupas, você pode gastar em Amsterdã. A cidade oferece um monte de opções de lojas e marcas legais.

If you have some money to spend on clothes, you can do it in Amsterdam. The city offers you a bunch of stores options and nice brands.

Bicicletas e motos são prioridade… esteja ciente disso! Então, cuidado ao atravessar as ruas!

Bicycles and motorcycles are priority… be aware of that! So watch out while crossing streets!

Você não pode fumar tabaco nos coffeeshops (apenas maconha) e você também não pode comprar qualquer bebida alcoólica lá dentro!

You can’t smoke tobacco in coffeeshops (only marijuana) and you can’t also buy any alcoholic beverage in there!

Não é permitido tirar fotos das prostitutas no Red Light District.

It is not allowed to take pictures of the prostitutes in the Red Light District.

Na maioria das vezes venta muito em Amsterdã! Segure seu lenços, chapéus, waffles… tudo!

Most of the time Amsterdam is super windy! Hold on to your scarves, hats, waffles… everything!

Se você tiver que escolher um dia para visitar Amsterdã, por que não no Amsterdam Kingsday? O festival mais famoso da cidade.

If you have to pick a day for visiting Amsterdam, why not on Amsterdam Kingsday? The most famous festival in the city.

Fique de olhos abertos no Red Light District… tem sempre trombadinhas ao redor.

Keep your eyes open in the Red Light District… there are always pick pockets around.

Amsterdã será certamente uma das cidades mais bonitas que você já viu!

Amsterdam will be certainly one of the most beautiful cities you’ve ever seen!
