Do you fancy a fine dining with an outstanding service plus a pleasant view over Danube River? So this post is for you as we have a superb suggestion of where to eat in Bratislava. Here we present the Riverbank Restaurant.
Remember that Bratislava was the forth destination of our 2018 eurotrip where we visited also Madrid, Malta, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Krakow, Malmo, Copenhagen and Toledo.

Where to eat in Bratislava – our orders
Starter
I went for Gillardeau oysters (€ 25.50). Check out the photos. They were incredible! I could eat 3 times more… Huuuuum! Delicious!
Victor went for a grilled lamb sweetbreads with chilli peppers, lime and cilantro (€ 13.90). He loved his choice for the starter as I imagined when I see this option on the menu.

Main course
For the main course I ordered a lobster, steamed vegetable, potatoes, bisque (€ 39.90). See how glorious and appetizing this is! Mouth-watering, huh? When I remember how savory it was, makes me want to teleport immediately to Riverbank! I thought I would have a lot of trouble trying to eat the lobster but I was wrong. It was arranged to look like that but it already was properly severed.
Victor ordered a classic peppered fillet steak with cognac sauce, zucchini julienne and pan fried potatoes with onion (€ 33.50). Heavenly yummy, he said!

Dessert
We’re definitely not into desserts. We don’t like sweets that much. Especially me, Carol… I don’t eat chocolate! Yeah… judge me! hahahah Victor insisted in ordering a dessert (for me, not him). So I went for a classic crème brûlèe served with fruit compote and vanilla ice cream (€ 7.50). For those who doesn’t enjoy desserts, it was quite tasty!

Our final opinion
The Riverbank restaurant is a very quite place to have dinner, lunch or even a breakfast/brunch. They offer a very professional service where you can count on great staff, very well organized and a super nice environment by the river promenade. Anyway, an excellent option for you who are looking for where to eat in Bratislava.

So now you know where to eat in Bratislava, right? 🙂 The menu is signed by the executive Chef Jaroslav Žídek, originally from the Czech Republic, who started his career in Slovakia 14 years ago.

Over to you! Would you order something different? Victor doesn’t eat seafood. Not due to allergy issues. It’s just because he really don’t like it. What about you? Do you have any food allergy or there’s something you don’t eat at all just because you don’t like it? Leave us a comment. We’d love to get you know better! ♥
Blog #PartiuMundo was welcomed as a guest, however it has not influenced our opinion. For more information about the restaurant, visit its official website.
