Chiang Mai (meaning “New City” in Thai) is a land of misty mountains and colourful hill tribes, a playground for seasoned travellers, a paradise for shoppers and a delight for adventurers. I already said that before… in Chiang Mai we had more contact with local people than any other city or island in Thailand. On a trip to Chiang Mai, the curious traveller can expand their horizons with Thai massage and cooking courses. Others will be bowled over by the variety of handicrafts and antiques. The wild child will find plenty of lively nightlife, and the food lovers can indulge in wonderful cuisine. Despite its relatively small size, Chiang Mai truly has it all. That said, now you’ll know where to stay in Chiang Mai. Here we present you the Chiang Mai Old Town.
The old town is an extraordinary vision. There barefoot monks collect alms in the morning and street vendors sell their wares by night. Check our our full Thailand itinerary here:

Location: the excitement of the city center is only 0 km away but where the hotel is located is a peaceful area. The hotel is located inside Chiang Mai’s old town walls, offering easy access to the city’s must-see destinations. Everything you need it’s walking distance from the hotel. Very conveniently located! 7-Eleven, markets, tourist companies (for buying your tours), restaurants, Thai massage and literally everything else you can think of is very close.
Sleep quality: I had no trouble sleeping at all. We stayed on the ground floor and even though there’s no noises… I had calm nights without any disturbance. (you might already know that I’m a bad sleeper due to insomnia).
The room: we stayed in the Deluxe King room. There’s a twin option as well. Beautiful design! The room is spacious (48m2) and the bed was VERY comfortable. With convertible sofa bed, the suite is ideal for family with young children, or couples like us. (: You will find best-in-class in-room furnishing, amenities, facilities, and personalized service. There’s a relaxing area with couch, minibar, working desk (which we always use a lot), coffee machine, and the huge TV made a difference! In brief, the room was immaculate, spacious and well equipped.

The bathroom was fantastic as you can see the on the pictures.
Services: you can count on a great swimming pool, 24-hour pool-facing fitness center, wonderful spa, massage, restaurant, airport shuttle and many other services. The staff is beyond nice and the service is exceptional. Warm welcome! The restaurant (The Vorra Bistro) was excellent for breakfast and dinner, and they had a nightly happy hour with live music sometimes in the courtyard, which is so charming, by the way!
If you arrive early or need to leave late, their lounge offers you with magazines, refreshments, wine, and many others. The Timeless Lounge has everything you need to pass the time in style. Fabulously decorated in the classic Thai style with well-designed furnitures.
Cleanliness: as any other 5 star hotel, you can’t expect any less than immaculate! No complaining at all about the cleanliness.
Differentials: the pool and courtyard were a plus! We loved everything, actually! The service of the staff was beyonce nice, as I said before. The decoration of the room and its comfort made me speechless!
Cost-benefit: I can say that the quality of service here is very high and the convenience of being in a 5 star luxury hotel, very well located for a fair price.
Blog #PartiuMundo was welcomed as a guest, however it has not influenced our opinion. For more information about the hotel, visit its official website.
The hotel is truly a ‘boutique’ hotel. It doesn’t offer you only a place to stay, but an amazing experience. We’d definitely come back here next time! Would you consider this hotel if you’re looking for where to stay in Chiang Mai?
