Hi folks! The today’s recommendation is about our trip to Athens. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Athens, stop looking for right now! We know where you should stay in if you’re looking for fun and beautiful view. Now we introduce you the AthenStyle! 🙂
Localização: o hostel está localizado no centro histórico de Atenas. Eles estão a uma curta distância de todos os monumentos históricos, incluindo a Acrópole, Ágora, o Templo de Zeus e o Parlamento. Eles estão localizados entre Monastiraki e Psirri, dois dos bairros super antigos e charmosos de Atenas. Psirri oferece pequenos cafés e lojas de doces durante o dia e uma animada vida noturna e música ao vivo à noite.
Location: the hostel is located in the historic centre of Athens. They’re within walking distance from all the historical monuments including the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Temple of Zeus, and Parliament. They’re located on the border between Monastiraki and Psirri, two of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods in Athens. Psirri offers small intimate cafes and sweet shops during the day and lively nightlife and live music at night.
Qualidade do sono: ficamos no 2º andar, então não conseguíamos ouvir nenhum barulho do bar e restaurante do último andar. Não sabemos sobre os quartos superiores ao nosso, então tente reservar os primeiros andares. As áreas ao redor estavam bem tranquilas, então eu não tive nenhum problema para dormir (eu tenho muita dificuldade pra dormir como eu já disse em posts anteriores).
Sleep quality: we stayed in the 2nd floor so we couldn’t hear any noise from the bar & restaurant on the last floor. We don’t know about the bedrooms above ours, so try to book the first floors. The surrounding areas were very quiete so I didn’t have any problem to sleep (I’m a very bad sleeper as I already told you in previous posts).
Quarto: eles oferecem camas de dormitório, salas privadas, estúdios e suites júnior. Todos os quartos dispõem de camas novas, colchões confortáveis, banheiro privativo e ar condicionado/aquecedor. Ficamos em um quarto privado como você pode ver na foto a seguir. Nós gostamos do guarda-roupa, pois era grande o suficiente para as nossas coisas; quantidade suficiente de tomadas na parede para nossas câmeras, celulares e notebooks; TV no quarto; se você quiser wifi, você tem que pagar uma pequena taxa, mas vale a pena, de qualquer forma.
Bedroom: they offer dorm beds, private rooms, studio flats and junior suítes. All of the rooms feature new beds, comfortable mattresses, private bathrooms and air conditioning/heating. We stayed in a private room as you can see in the following picture. We liked the wardrobe because it was big enough for our stuff; enough qty of sockets on the wall for our cameras, cell phones and laptops; tv in the bedroom; if you want wifi, you have to pay a small fee, but it’s worth, anyway.
Serviço: a equipe é bastante gentil e te ajuda toda vez que você precisa. Se você precisar de algumas dicas sobre o que fazer na cidade, eles gentilmente vão recomendar alguns lugares. O hostel dispõe de lockers para os seus hóspedes mediante uma pequena taxa e todas as manhãs há um café da manhã continental com chá, moído, laranjas frescas, pão fresco com manteiga e geléia, cereais, granola e leite.
O WiFi está disponível na recepção gratuitamente. As instalações do porão incluem uma mesa de bilhar, cinema, serviços de lavanderia, sala de estar com sofás e computadores que você pode alugar por uma pequena taxa.
Service: the staff is pretty much kind and helps you out everytime you need them. If you need some tips on things to do in the city, they’ll kindly recommend some places. The hostel offers lockers for its guests for a small fee and every morning there’s a continental breakfast with tea, coffee, fresh oranges, freshly baked bread with butter & jam, cereal, muesli and milk.
WiFi is available in the lobby free of charge. The basement facilities include a pool table, home cinema, laundry services, lounge with sofas and computers that you can rent for a small fee.
Limpeza: todos os quartos e banheiros são limpos diariamente sem nenhum custo adicional. A roupa de cama e toalhas estavam muito limpas, por isso não temos nada a reclamar.
Cleanliness: all rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily for no additional charge. The bed linen and towels were very clean, so we don’t have anything to complain about it.
Diferenciais: eles são parte do Europe’s Famous Hostels (Hostels Famosos da Europa), que fornece um selo de qualidade reconhecido no ramo de hospedagem.
