Ficamos apaixonados por Roma! Mas quem não ficaria? Roma é linda, inspiradora, rica em história, pessoas amigáveis em todos os lugares e nós amamos o idioma italiano! Está na nossa lista: começar aulas de italiano! ahahaha Sem mencionar os deliciosos gelatos! AH MEU DEUS!!! É dar água na boca!

We’re in love with Rome! But who wouldn’t be? Rome is lovely, inspiring, rich in history, friendly people everywhere and we do love the Italian language! It’s on our to-do list: start Italian classes! ahahaha Not to mention the delightful gelatos! OMG!!! It’s mouth-watering!

Bom, vamos direto ao ponto! Passamos 5 noites incríveis no hotel 4 estrelas Villa Glori e todos os detalhes estão a seguir.

Well, let’s get straight to the point! We spent 5 incredible nights in the four star Hotel Villa Glori and all details follow.

Localização: o hotel está convenientemente localizado perto de uma linha de trem, a uma caminhada de menos de 5 minutos. É muito fácil chegar ao centro da cidade. A cerca de 20 minutos a pé da Piazza del Popolo. Você também pode encontrar alguns restaurantes ao redor, mas como é muito perto de uma linha de trem, vale a pena ir ao centro de qualquer forma para comer algo.

Location: the hotel is conveniently located close to a tram line, less than a 5 minute walking. It’s really easy to get to the city centre. It’s about 20 minutes walking to Piazza del Popolo. You can also find some restaurants around but as it’s really close to a tram line, it’s worth going to city centre anyway to have something to eat.

Qualidade do sono: consideravelmente diferente de albergues, um hotel 4 estrelas é de fato muito tranquilo e você não precisa se preocupar com barulho, pelo menos nos andares superiores. Além disso, o Hotel está situado em uma área residencial tranquila, então não ouvimos nenhum barulho de carros ou ônibus.

Sleep quality: pretty much different from hostels, a 4 star hotel is really quiet and you don’t have to worry about noise, at least in the upper floors. Besides, The Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, so we heard no noise from the traffic.

O quarto: são 52 quartos no hotel. O que ficamos era muito pequeno, mas confortável. O ar-condicionado estava funcionando perfeitamente e tinha uma TV no quarto, mas sem canais em inglês. Mesa de trabalho é algo que aprecio! Conseguimos postar nossas fotos no Instagram com muita facilidade porque havia acesso à internet de alta velocidade. O banheiro era surpreendente!

The room: there are 52 rooms in the hotel. The one we stayed in was quite small but kinda comfy. The air conditioning was perfectly working and there was a TV in the room but with no English channels. Work table is something we do appreciate! We could post our photos on Instagram very easily because there was high speed internet access. The bathroom was superb!

Serviço: assim que chegamos no hotel recebemos um mapa da cidade e nossas senhas para a internet. A recepção é 24h e a equipe é multilíngue, educada e mais do que útil. O café da manhã buffet estava excelente, com muitas opções, incluindo bacon e ovos que nós amamos, por sinal! Existem alguns serviços disponíveis, tais como lavanderia, babysitting, sala de bagagens, assistência com excursões/ingressos e serviço de quarto também.

Service: as soon as we arrived at the hotel we received a city map and our passwords for the internet. The front desk is 24/7 and the staff is multilingual, very polite and beyond helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent with many options including bacon and eggs which we do love it, by the way! There are some services available such as laundry , babysitting, luggage storage, tour/ticket assistance and room service as well.

Limpeza: impecável!

Cleanliness: immaculate!

Diferenciais: localização. Estar fora das multidões de turistas é realmente agradável! Além disso, você está perto de uma linha de trem de qualquer forma. Outra coisa a ser dita… há acesso grátis à internet no quarto. Pode parecer meio que normal, mas não é. Mais uma vez, eu sei que não se pode comparar um hotel de 4 estrelas com albergues, mas já nos hospedamos em hostels que não tinha internet no quarto de jeito nenhum e também ficamos em hotéis onde a internet não era de graça no quarto. Então, sim, acesso gratuito à internet no quarto no Hotel Villa Glori é definitivamente um diferencial.

Differentials: location. Be out of tourist crowds is really enjoyable! Besides, you’re close to a tram line anyway. Another thing to be said… there’s free internet in the room. It might be sound kinda usual but it’s not. Once again, I know I can’t compare a 4 star hotel with hostels but we’ve stayed in hostels that there was no internet in the room at all and we also stayed in hotels where the internet wasn’t for free in the room. So yes, free internet in the room at Hotel Villa Glori is definitely a differential.

Custo-benefício: qualidade por preço justo! Além do fato de o quarto ser muito pequeno, todas as outras coisas, especialmente o serviço, valem a pena!

Cost-benefit: value for money! Besides the room be very small, all the other things, especially the service, it’s worth!
